Bloody Mary’s are one of my favorite cocktails because they are delicious, and I can be creative. I have been known to make masterpieces.
I don’t think I have ever made one that was the same as the last. This is one of my favorites because I use the Spicy Sweet bacon recipe that is in this book. You don’t have to use it, but I do suggest a thick, peppered bacon. Everyone has their preference on Bloody Mary Mix, but I am a fan of Zing Zang and Old Bay vodka takes this Bloody to a new level. Obviously, you can use the vodka of your choice. I am very particular about my skewers and their placement, and I use different lengths of skewers to give my Bloody depth and character. Yes, I take it seriously.
PRO TIP
Place bigger, larger garnish throughout the glass and smaller skewers with smaller food in the front. Let your Bloody tell a story. Use celery with leaves to offset the red and mix.
